Photos that feel like the day felt
Meet Jacob
Hi, I’m Jacob Mory, a Temecula wedding photographer serving couples across Southern California.
Your wedding day moves fast. My job is to slow it down in photos you’ll come back to for years: the nerves before you see each other, a hand in yours, the joy that carries the whole day.
Not comfortable in front of a camera? You don’t have to be. I’ll direct you the whole way and keep it relaxed, so you can just be together.
Eight years of courthouse weddings, elopements and full celebrations, from Temecula wineries to backyard “I dos.”
Tell me about your day. Share your date, who’s coming and the kind of place you’re drawn to, whether that’s vineyards, the coast or somewhere that means something to you.
We plan it together. I’ll suggest locations and a timeline built around the best light, and help you check whether your spot needs a permit.
Get your marriage license. Any California county can issue it, and it’s valid anywhere in the state. If you’re having a ceremony, line up your officiant. A friend can be deputized for the day.
On the day, I’ll photograph your ceremony, your vows and the people who joined you. Then we’ll take our time with relaxed portraits while I direct you through easy moments together.
Your sneak peek arrives within 5 days, and your full gallery follows.
A 50% retainer reserves your date, and the rest is due 15 days before your elopement.
How your elopement day goes
Testimonials
We wanted our San Diego courthouse wedding to stay small and simple, but we still wanted it to feel special. Jacob made that happen. He knew exactly where to take us for photos around downtown afterward, kept us relaxed the whole time, and caught every little moment with our families. Our photos feel like us.”
Jeremy & Lauren
Eloping in Temecula was the best decision we made, and having Jacob there made it even better. He helped us plan the timeline around golden hour in wine country and found spots we never would have found on our own. He made the whole day feel effortless. Every time we look at our gallery, we’re right back in that moment.

Good to know
Two hours covers most elopements. Add time at $500 per hour if you’re planning a picnic, a dinner or a second location.
Some beaches, parks and wineries require a permit or have their own rules, so we’ll check your location before you book it.
Bring government-issued photo ID for both of you when you get your license. A public license also needs at least one witness at the ceremony.
Golden hour gives the softest light, so most elopements are timed for the hour or two before sunset.
Tell me about your day
Maybe it’s just the two of you at sunset in the vineyards, or vows on the San Diego coast with your closest people beside you. Whatever you’re picturing, I’d love to hear about it. Share your date, your location if you have one and who’s coming, and I’ll reply with availability and next steps.
FAQ
-
What’s the difference between an elopement and an intimate wedding?
An elopement is usually just the two of you, or a handful of people, with the day built around the experience. An intimate wedding adds close family or friends and often a small dinner. I photograph both, and your coverage is built around what you’re planning. -
Around Temecula and San Diego, as well as Riverside and Orange County. Think vineyards and Old Town Temecula, or the coastline, cliffs and parks around San Diego. If you have a spot in mind, tell me about it. If you don’t, I’ll suggest a few based on the look you want and the time of year.
-
Temecula elopements start at $1,000, and San Diego and beyond start at $1,200. Both include 2 hours of coverage, professionally edited, high-resolution images, a private online gallery and a sneak peek within 5 days. Additional time is $500 per hour.

For most couples, yes. Two hours covers your ceremony, a few photos with anyone who joins you, and an unhurried portrait session. If you’re adding a picnic, a dinner or a second location, adding an hour gives everything room to breathe.
-
It depends on the location. Many San Diego beaches and parks require a permit for ceremonies, and wineries and private properties have their own rules. Once you choose a spot, I’ll help you check what’s needed so there are no surprises on the day.
-
Not at all. Most couples feel that way. I direct you through simple prompts and movement, so you can focus on each other instead of the camera, and the day stays relaxed.
-
Totally. I’ll direct you the whole time and keep things relaxed, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. Most couples relax within the first few minutes.

Absolutely. Some couples come alone, and some bring parents, kids or a few close friends. Just let me know who’s coming so we can plan time for those photos.
